StalkSkye is unique. There are many people, worldwide, that are passionate about stalking wild deer. There are squadrons of people, mostly from Europe, that have been enthralled by the captivating beauty of Skye. Up until now, only a blessed few have been able to combine the two...
StalkSkye is delighted to offer the exclusive opportunity to enjoy (or endure?!) the diverse and invigorating sport available on this unique island. From forest stalking on elevated seats, 'snapshots' off sticks, or prone on the open hill, there is sport for all seasons, all weathers, and all abilities.
The, relatively, kind westerly climate, and an abundance of forestry, have facilitated the genetic enhancement of the indigenous deer population, producing both higher average body weights, and a greater density of trophy stags.
StalkSkye has an underlying priority to manage the deer population for; herd health, environmental improvement, and protection from fiscal losses by other land users. Whilst trophy animals may be eligible to cull, from time to time, it will be at the sole discretion of StalkSkye.
In our opinion, stalking some of the largest specimens of the greatest native red deer on UK soils, in the unspoilt environment that Skye can offer, should be on the 'bucket list' of any serious stalker.
